Practice Philosophy :

I view counseling as a collaborative partnership between therapist and client. I believe that all children, teens and adults have the ability to reach their full potential if they have a safe environment, expert guidance, and a knowledgeable support system in place. I have worked with children and families in different contexts over the past 12 years, and have consistently enjoyed helping those I work with overcome obstacles in their lives. I use cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), motivational interviewing techniques (MI), solution focused brief therapy techniques, and other strength-based approaches. I sincerely love my job as a professional counselor, and couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else! Daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available.
